SafeEntry Check-In for all Visitors

The Singapore Government has introduced the SafeEntry digital system for contact tracing purposes.

The system – which is compulsory for workplaces – is part of broader safe management practices and technologies that individuals and businesses must use so that normal activities can resume gradually and safely.

As such, all visitors to Haneflex are required to scan the QR code below (which can also be found at our building entrance) before entering the building. Alternatively, you can also got to haneflex.com/safeentry to check-in as well.

Guidance for managing operations as part of COVID-19 pandemic response

The novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) global pandemic is causing unprecedented disruption to aviation operations. JIG and A4A is issuing the following guidance to users of JIG & ATA103 respectively. Where flight reductions and/or mandatory quarantines warrant a reduction in fuel operations, the following guidelines may be used :

COVID-19 Preventive Measures

As part of our corporate responsibility to minimise the spread of COVID-19 as well as for the health and safety of our staff and customers, Haneflex will be adopting a work-from-home policy for staff that are able to. Apart from that, we are still business as usual, however, we seek your understanding that our responses may be a little delayed. Our contact details remain unchanged.

Likewise, we are also experiencing delivery delays as well for import shipments coming from overseas due to the dramatic cut in the number of flights available as well as the limited production capacities from …

Advance Notice of Change to JIG Standards for Lanyard Operated Hydrant Valve Pilots

In recent years, JIG has been made aware of a number of incidents that occurred when hydrant pit couplers were struck by aircraft ground servicing vehicles such as baggage tractors, high loaders, or conveyor belts. In most of these incidents, the coupler was struck by vehicles during fuel flow for aircraft fuelling resulting in spillage and in some cases fuel release under pressure (forming a geyser such as the one shown) with spillage of a few thousand litres.

What appears to be a common characteristic in all of these recent incidents is that the hydrant pit couplers and valves did …

Emcee DEF Contamination in FSII Test Kits

Due to recent reports of several incidents where Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) was mistaken for Fuel System Icing Inhibitor (FSII) and pre-mixed with Jet Fuel, it resulted in potentially catastrophic events. See the report here : Aircraft DEF Contamination Working Group Report-FINAL

If your operation works with FSII, Emcee has developed a quick test kit that can determine if FSII is free of DEF prior to the addition of FSII to aviation fuel. See the Test Procedure here : DEF in FSII Test rev 1

Feel free to contact us if you are interested to find out more.…

JIG Bulletin 105 Compliance Newsflash

JIG Bulletin 105 was published in December 2017 and it contained a range of actions which users of SAP-based Filter Monitor Systems are required to implement until filter monitors are completely phased out. Data from JIG inspections since 2017 has shown some gaps in the implementation of Bulletin 105. These findings primarily concern the effective implementation of the updated protocol for inspection and cleaning of hose-end strainers and implementation of DP limiting systems set at 15psi. In order to reiterate the importance of conforming to Bulletin 105, JIG announced the following initiatives to support operators in ensuring that Bulletin 105 …

CDFX Approved for Field Trials

Having fully reviewed the data presented as a result of extensive internal and external robustness testing, members of the Energy Institute Aviation Fuel Filtration Committee (EI AFFC) on Wednesday (February 12th) approved the Parker Velcon CDFX™ for field trials.  The Parker AFD team is pleased to receive the committee’s vote of confidence in allowing our CDFX™ Water Barrier Technology to progress to field trials at into-plane fueling locations.

Our team is working closely with JIG and A4A to support the field test protocol and trials of CDFX at airports globally. We will supply CDFX elements and support for
